Alamo, NV Trip; June 2013

While Joe was here we wanted to take a trip to Alamo so we (but mostly him) could see grandparents.  (We originally had plans to go to Utah too but that unfortunately didn't work out)

Obviously we rode horses:

 

 Ahem, yes I acknowledge I broke important horse riding rules here: Shorts and flip flops!

 We rode all around on the "Bug"

 Caught fish at the hot springs! 

The kids swung on the swing.

 And rode bikes

And we rode the horses more. 

 Brandy convinced some of the kids to try bareback riding too!

 Dude sure is a patient, good horse.  Every time we come to visit we get a picture like this with all four kids piled on him and he stands like a statue every time!

 We went for another ride in the "Bug".  Grandpa made Michael and James day by letting them drive!  They could barely hold in all their excitement!

Playing hard is tiring!

We also made sure to relax while in Alamo!
