They have been working hard to get the cabinets all done
While the cabinets were being installed our chicken, Red, insisted in coming in the open windows. We would throw her out and she would come back in. Before long we heard her clucking and she had laid her first egg in the pantry.
They brought the counter top. We picked Cesar Stone quartz, in the color Nougat. It is mostly white with chunks of grey, white and tan quartz in it. It is very durable like granite but never needs sealing like granite.

*As a side note. They came and took a template of the bathrooms and kitchen and then made the counter tops. When they installed them the kids bathroom counter and the counter between the stove and the fridge were cut wrong and they had to order a new slab and redo them both. In the end they looked great.
Days after Red started laying her sister, Butterfinger, started laying eggs on the kitchen counter next to the fridge. She took longer to perfect her laying spot trying out a few different options.
