This month has been ONE LOOOONG MONTH!! We started out with Robert getting sick. He was REALLY sick! He went to the doctor and she said he had, "the flu, the real flu" and to expect to be sick for 7 to 10 days. For the first week he was in bed nearly every day, with only getting up for small amounts of time, if at all. On day 9 he was still sick so we called our awesome home teachers to come give him a blessing...on day 18 he still wasn't back to normal so back to the doctor he went.
The doctor now thinks it was not the flu but Valley Fever. Valley Fever is a fungal infection that you can catch by breathing in dust/dirt in the southwest. The symptoms can last for weeks, and if you are very unlucky, forever because once you have Valley Fever you always have it. It is not contagious so that is good, and would explain why none of us were sick with him. (More info about Valley Fever can be found here.) He is still coughing and gets winded easily but he is able to go to work and keep up with life for the most part.
James was very excited he had a birthday this month! He counted down the days and waited for his special day to come around. We invited Grandma and Grandpa over for presents, cake and ice cream.
He was excited to receive a stuffed animal from Grandma, she has made them for many if the grand kids and she gave him a dog!
He has been so excited to turn 5, FINALLY go to kindergarten and to school with Michael! His favorite color is red. His favorite thing about preschool is art.
Katelyn got into my mascara and gave it a try when we weren't looking. Considering she is only 3, she did a pretty good job.

HOWEVER, she is WAY TOO YOUNG for makeup...lets wait another 10 years!
I think that sums up our month. Hope you had a good February!
