Christmas!

We have been so blessed this Christmas by family and friends.  Thank you to all of you who have blessed our lives this Christmas and this year!  We love you!

New Year's Eve

We had a fun time celebrating New Year's Eve with Sparklers and Fireworks.

...we stayed out as late as we could...we left at 8:30! (What can I say, having kids, working 70 hours a week and having to wake up the next day at 6am does that!)

Katelyn's Third Birthday!

Some how with all the stress of holidays and life we missed posting about Katie's birthday!  Don't worry, we didn't miss her birthday!  She is such a wonderful girl we truly enjoyed celebrating her .

She requested a "Chocolate Milk" cake.  I ended up making her a classic flourless chocolate cake, for the frosting we crushed up candy canes, mixed it in cream cheese with a little powdered sugar.  It was SO GOOD!   

And the best part = Katie love it too!

October Break Camping Trip

If you haven't noticed I am trying to get caught up on the blog...I don't know if it will happen but, I am trying.  So here is another late post.  :)

In October we went on a camping trip in Southern Arizona.  We camped on Mt Graham.  It was beautiful!

Gluten Free...

I do not eat gluten.  Lots of people have been asking my why and how I decided to make this choice.  If you would like to hear the story of my search for answers continue reading.  If you don't want to know that much about me...feel free to skip this post.

Lilly's First Birthday!!

I can not believe that it has been a year since sweet Lilly joined our family.  (I think I say that every time they turn 1 but I really do mean it!)
 

Here is a bit about Lilly:

She loves to play with her siblings.

She walks a little bit sideways, and she's not that great at walking still probably because there are enough people to carry her around when she wants...and when she doesn't want to also.

She is still very cautious on the stairs, I don't mind, however she can go up and down them on her own now.  

She has two teeth on the bottom and two coming soon on the top.
She says Momma, Dadda, Bye-Bye and she shakes her head yes and no and I think she knows what they mean.
She loves, loves, loves baby dolls.  She sleeps with one, carries one around, kisses them, hugs them...you get the idea.
The only thing she likes as much as dolls is balls and cell phones and if they are pink then she loves them even more!  :) 

 

New Family Pictures

I am still a few posts behind but I can't help but do this post now!! We just had family pictures done by the fabulous Bethany, see more of her wonderful work here.  I am so happy with how they turned out that I can't wait to print them out and send them to all the Grandparents!!  (So if that is you, don't worry there will be some coming your way before too long.)
